Make Your Own Decadent Hot Chocolate Bar

Hot chocolate is the perfect treat for your guests at the end of just about any celebration. But rather than serving it up plain with marshmallows, make things more interactive for your guests by creating a decadent hot chocolate bar for them to mix and match flavors and toppings.

Start with your favorite hot chocolate recipe and make three ‘stations’ for guests create their perfect sip:

Minted

Base:

Add 2 Tbsp of peppermint extract (per every six, 6 oz cups in your carafe or dispenser)

Garnishes:

  • Pulverized peppermint candies
  • Chocolate sprinkles
  • Candy canes

 

Orange Mocha

Base:

Add 3 tsp instant espresso and ¼ cup orange flavored vodka (per every six, 6 oz cups in your carafe or dispenser)

Garnishes:

  • Orange juice
  • Orange slices
  • Orange sugar (1/2 cup superfine sugar, ½ tsp orange food coloring, 1 tsp orange zest – stir until sugar becomes pale orange color)
  • Chocolate licorice twists

 

Peanut Butter S’mores

Base:

Add ¼ cup peanut butter chips (per every six, 6 oz cups in your carafe or dispenser)

Garnishes:

  • Chocolate syrup
  • Graham cracker crumbs
  • Marshmallows
